When You Can’t Name the Feeling
By Tami Williams

Good morning, friends.
I want to be honest with you today.

I’m in a strange place emotionally—one I can’t quite explain. It’s like my spirit is wide open and absorbing the weight of everything around me. I feel the sadness of others. I feel the heaviness of the world. I feel mental confusion in the air—and yet, I can’t put my finger on exactly why I feel what I feel.

Maybe you’ve been there too.

There’s so much happening right now—visible and invisible. People are struggling in ways that words don’t capture. Some are grieving. Others are numb. Some are questioning everything they’ve been taught. Some are just… tired.

And maybe you, like me, are picking it all up and carrying it in your chest without even realizing it.

But here’s what I’m reminding myself today:

You don’t have to solve everything.
You don’t even have to know what’s next.
You just have to be held.
By God. By grace. By rest.

So if you’re feeling something you can’t explain… if your emotions feel like strangers… if your soul is tired and your mind is cloudy—know this:

You’re not alone.
You’re not broken.
You’re not behind.
You’re just human. And you’re allowed to pause.

Breathe.
Feel.
Rest.
And let the next step rise up gently, when it’s time.

With grace,
Tami Williams
